It can be used to pick one or two things to go see, but it is highly likely that you can discover these things either on the internet, or you will discover the actual existing situation to be different when you get there. It was not clear if the people who wrote this particular guide ever actually visited the Island of Jamaica at all.

I bought this book in hopes that it would recommend a good tour guide. It actually recommended a GREAT guide who we toured with three days during our recent trip to Jamaica. It was also helpful to read up on the country before we arrived.

Excellent resource. Current and true to what you will discover on the island. Very comprehensive.
