I love Ho'oponopono but I couldnt make it through this book. He is so long winded! I just wanted to know what Ho'oponopono was and how to implement it....he goes on and on taking you through an excruciatingly long journey about how HE discovered Ho'oponopono. Try'the Easiest Way to Live.." by Mabel Katz or "HO'OPONOPONO SECRETS" by Paul Jackson for a much more understandable and to the point description of this technique.

Since 2013, I've been attracted to the Ho'oponopono philosophy and in the process began research on it since last year. I've picked up on a few Youtube pages as well as a few books on this subject. And now this book. I bought this book (on discount) because I wanted to know more about this philosophy. Don't get me wrong, this book has some very good advice by Dr. Hew Len. However, within the first couple of pages of the book, the author's true revelation is shown (he's an author, businessman, sold audio and DVD's, lost weight, interviewed with big names in the entertainment industry, etc). My impression on Mr. Vitale was a little off to says the least and I would agree with a comment made by another individual who reviewed this book, "Bad story telling".Through out the book Mr. Vitale makes subtle hints advertising his websites, and accomplishments which, in my opinion, drowns out the actual reason for him seeking out Dr. Hew Len. Mr. Vital certainly has the money to seek out the good Dr., make a few conferences using the Hoʻoponopono. There's a chapter filled with emails from individual who attended the small conferences made up of lawyers, business people, psychologist, and people who make a very substantial income. I feel as though he sort of used Dr. Hew Len to upgrade his own business and entrepreneurship even future. . Or maybe it was just me wanting more from this book than what the title actually shows.

OK. This is a tough review to write. This book truly has a magic, mystical, potentially life-changing insight that is wonderful. So, for that, I would, and can only recommend it. With one big caveat: Be prepared to simply flip through many pages at a time. The meat of this book is riveting, and marvelous. Unfortunately this meat is riddled and marbled with a greasy fat of unbelievable self-promotion and self-congratulatory praise. Mr. Vitale, I get it. "The Attractor Factor" was an incredible best-seller -- Number 1 even! You have an incredible exotic sports car. People hold you in reverence like a prophet. I know all these things because you never -- ever -- hesitate to tell me. The irony here is that I probably WILL purchase some other of your product set because of the basic content of this book. To potential readers, on the Kindle, you get the gist of all of it somewhere between 37% and 50%. After that it becomes somewhat repetitive (fine if you need the reinforcement) but even more infuriating with all the plugs and promotion. I am not suggesting the book should have been written as if by a Benedictine Monk; the story of Joe's success is an allegory for all of us, and in context, snippets of that success arc make sense. It is the sheer weight of it all that seems to betray an intrinsic insecurity or need for praise that then -- again ironically -- takes away from the Horatio Alger story of Joe Vitale.All-in-all, take with notice. Get the book. It might change your life immensely. When it's not making you angry.

This was my first book on the subject and I recognized his name, so I purchased it. I wished i had looked more. this book is FULL of Mr. Vitale's marketing and ego. He even states that he was called the J man of business! J man meaning Jesus!!!Who claims this????The info is simple, so why does he promote his other books so much?Move on, there are other books with the same info and less or zero self promotion.

This is the story of the psychologist who healed an entire criminal ward facility of heavily drugged criminal patients - WITHOUT SEEING THEM IN PERSON IN THERAPY!!! THAT IS CORRECT, to the point that the criminal ward was closed after roughly three years. It is a true story, and has been validated by the author and many others.TODAY I have decided I will give a copy of this book to every person I meet. Previously, I was often surprised that this book should come to my attention so frequently. After all, I read many spiritual books, and some are more powerful than this, in their own way.BUT as I have reflected on this, as to why I have gifted this book more than any other, to more people, and why it keeps coming back to me, it is this: It is about the space it holds. The simplicity of its message is one thing, and parts of it may be refuted. It is really about what is in it, "the energy", so to speak. And its message of healing, in its simplicity, is needed on a very very very large scale for all people.This is why I have gifted this book more than any other, and today decided to gift it to everyone I know, beginning at least with those with whom I have frequent contact. I also like the fact that there are many used copies available for circulation in hard-copy, even at a lower price, and it is carried in many used bookstores, libraries, etc... Makes it easier to gift it more often, and recommend it to more people. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO. People really need a lot of healing, and this gets at it from a very deep and unique angle.And watch everything offered by Dr. Hew Len, the psychologist and Kahuna practitioner. There are many free videos and materials available. I am not a follower per-say, and I do not think it is necessary to attend and follow a method. Over the years, I have learned, especially with spiritual healing modalities, you can truly receive the gist and core-essence of some teachings and teachers, even better from afar than in person, since personalities COULD get in the way. However, to each their own, as some many need to actually attend the various workshops, spend the money, and participate with others, in order to appreciate its depth.The most important thing is to deepen the practice, and recognize how it continues to work in you and on you, and what keeps arising as you do. Make it a journey of discovery. You may not need to take it in the "money" direction per-say, although you could if there is a need. Again, it is what Dr. Hew Len carries that makes this book important, and Joe Vitale was just the right person as a first-encounter witness to this process.So this book is co-authored by Hew Len, and although it is very different from other works of Joe Vitale --in a sense-- I do appreciate Vitale's innocence and manner of writing in this book. Having picked up his other books after reading this, I do not feel the same vibe at all, although "At Zero" gives a good look at Hew Len's teacher, a female "Treasure" of Hawaii --so I appreciate that one too.But I am not a big fan of money enterprises, and usually am not attracted to most of their books in general. I would title this book rather something like, "The Truth of Repentance and Forgiveness". That speaks more to the message of the book than the given title, in my discoveries of-course. But why not, you can slap a wealth token on it if you want, for better profits! But then again who knows what might have happened if it was entitled "The Truth of Repentance and Forgiveness".Just being simple and to the point.Thank you -A Friend.
